Marriott: 30,000 miles or two free nights this fall

I recommend using the free night offer below if you are only staying less than 10 nights at Marriott and the airline offer if you are staying 10 or more nights.
This fall you can earn two free hotel nights at Marriott Hotels after staying 4 separate nights (1 free with 2 separate stays) while paying with a Visa credit card. You can only earn a maximum of 2 free nights. This offer will run from September 15 through January 15, 2012. You can redeem your free nights after earning them, up to May 15, 2012. Your free night can be redeemed at a Category 1 – 4 hotel which includes JW Marriott, EDITION, Autograph Collection, Renaissance, Marriott, Courtyard by Marriott, Fairfield Inn & Suites, SpringHill Suites, Residence Inn, TownePlace Suites, Marriott Vacation Club, and Ritz-Carlton hotels.

OR……. if you’d rather earn miles airline miles, you can earn up to 30,000 bonus miles on Delta, United, British Airways, Lufthansa, GOL/Varig, or LanPass.
On your second stay, you will earn 1,000 bonus miles, on your second and third stays 1,500 miles, fifth through seventeenth stay earns 2,000 miles, which puts you at the 30,000 max. You will continue to earn your base miles in addition to the bonus miles. This promotion also runs from September 15 through January 15, 2012.
