Hilton: Double Points/Double Miles offer

Hilton HHonors is running a campaign right now through September 30 where you can earn double points or double miles when staying at their properties.  If you do not frequent the Hilton brand, I would recommend having them go to the mileage account of your preference.  The one catch:  you must sign up on the Hilton website in advance to be eligible (you can do so right now at the link below).  When deals like this arise, I always recommend registering.  You may think that you will not be staying at a Hilton property in the near future, but this offer runs until September 30.  Hilton’s line of hotels also includes DoubleTree, Hampton Inns, Embassy Suites, Home2 and many others.

Travel/Points/Miles news for 7/24

The Atlanta Journal Constitution looks at how Delta has updated their “Delta Sky Club” airport lounges.

Be careful when receiving emails regarding your frequent flier miles/accounts.  Cyber-attackers are now using phishing schemes to try to steal your miles.

Peter Greenberg in his blog gives you advice on redeeming your frequent flier miles.

Air Berlin was joined the OneWorld Alliance, which will allow you to use your American Airlines miles if traveling with them.

I think I found my new hero:  this guy hit 10 million frequent flier miles on Atlanta.

Welcome to Free Travel Pro
